Youth succumbs to injuries in Yeyyadi stabbing incident

Mangaluru: A youth named Kaushik, who was severely injured in a stabbing incident that occurred in Yeyyadi on June 6, has reportedly passed away on Friday despite receiving medical treatment.

The incident took place near a bar in Yeyyadi, where an altercation broke out. During the dispute, Brijesh Shetty, a resident of Bejai, allegedly stabbed Kaushik. Kaushik, who sustained serious injuries in the attack, was admitted to a private hospital in the city. However, despite efforts, the treatment proved unsuccessful, and he succumbed to his injuries.

It is said that the assault stemmed from an old rivalry between the two. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Mangaluru : The new Hyundai Exter has been launched in Mangaluru with exciting features. The car was unveiled at the Advaith Hyundai Showroom in Kuntikana.

National champion runner Ayush R Devadiga officially launched the car. The event included a cake-cutting ceremony, and he was also honoured. He said the car is designed for today’s youth and is expected to become popular.

Sales consultant Chandan explained the car’s features. Showroom manager Rajesh Ullal and other staff members attended the event.
