Yami also shared her insights into her script selection process, noting that her decisions are guided by her instincts and a desire to explore diverse roles. She explained, “I trust my instincts. I make a conscious effort not to become too comfortable with my previous roles or perceived strengths. I don’t overanalyze. The initial feeling I get after reading a script—whether it excites or challenges me—plays a crucial role in my decision-making. I aim to be as versatile as possible and remain true to my choices. Achieving something that seems effortless always requires deliberate effort. It’s about consistently working toward roles that push my limits.”

Recently, the 36-year-old actress starred in the film “Dhoom Dhaam,” where she portrayed the character Koyal Chadda, a traditional and refined woman. The romantic comedy, which also features Pratik Gandhi, premiered on Netflix on February 14, 2025.
