Vani Kapoor overcame a challenging bogey-bogey finish to secure her third consecutive victory in the sixth leg of the 2025 Women’s Pro Golf Tour on Thursday. Playing at her home course, the demanding DLF Golf and Country Club, Vani recorded a final round score of 1-over 73, winning the leg by three strokes.

Vani’s total for the tournament was 1-over 217, with rounds of 72-72-73. Amateur Anvvi Dahhiya delivered her best performance yet on the Hero WPGT, finishing with scores of 71-77-74 for a cumulative total of 220.

With this victory, Vani accomplished the rare feat of winning three tournaments in a row, a milestone last reached by Vidhatri Urs in 2024, who won the ninth, tenth, and eleventh legs of the Tour. This win also propelled Vani to the top of the Order of Merit. Although she previously won the Order of Merit three consecutive times from 2014 to 2016, she has not held the top spot since then due to her international commitments. These three wins could provide her with the confidence needed to return to the international scene.

Amateur Anvvi Dahhiya sparked excitement by challenging Vani during the back nine with back-to-back birdies, but she relinquished her gains with a double bogey on the 18th hole. This opened the door for Vani, who secured her win by three strokes despite finishing with two bogeys.

Starting the round with a two-shot lead, Vani maintained her composure, beginning with four consecutive pars before notching a birdie on the Par-3 fifth hole. A bogey on the Par-5 eighth was countered by back-to-back birdies on the 10th and 11th holes. However, a double bogey on the 14th gave Anvvi an opportunity to close the gap, but Vani responded with a birdie on the 15th, matching Anvvi’s performance. Vani’s late-round bogeys on the final two holes didn’t impede her victory, as Anvvi’s misfortune on the last hole allowed Vani to maintain her lead.

First-round leader Lavanya Jadon concluded her week with a 75, which included a triple bogey on the Par-5 fourth hole. Her performance of three birdies, three bogeys, and a triple bogey left her in third place at 6-over 222. Sneha Singh struggled with a 5-over 77, finishing fourth at 223, with only one birdie compared to four bogeys and a double bogey.

Gaurika Bishnoi finished in fifth with a score of 76, while amateur Keya K Badugu produced the day’s best round of 71, the sole under-par score, finishing sixth. Gauri Karhade (75) and Amandeep Drall (79) tied for seventh, with Ridhima Dilawari (78) and Anvitha Narender (77) completing the top ten.

Vani’s win elevated her to the lead in the Order of Merit with earnings of Rs. 8,54,000, pushing Sneha Singh to second place with Rs. 7,82,567, while Amandeep Drall moved into third with Rs. 4,92,300. Kriti Chowhan and Lavanya Jadon rank fourth and fifth with Rs. 4,57,434 and Rs. 4,49,267, respectively.
