Woman Uses Grihalakshmi Scheme Money to Provide Meal for Entire Village in Vijayapura!!!
Vijayapura: While BJP leaders have been criticizing the state government’s guarantee schemes, claiming that these schemes will lead to the state’s financial ruin, a recent incident in Vijayapura district showcases the positive impact of the same schemes on the lives of the people. In a remarkable example of the Grihalakshmi Scheme benefiting local communities, a woman in Sindagi taluk used the money from the scheme to provide a feast for her entire village.
The incident took place in Guhihal village, near Tamba, in Sindagi taluk, where Maabubi Abbasali Chowdhari, a beneficiary of the Grihalakshmi Scheme, saved the funds from the program and used them to organize a meal for the entire village. On Monday, she invited Sindiagi MLA Ashok Manugali and all the village residents to join the feast of “Holige,” a traditional sweet flatbread.
Speaking to media representatives during the event, MLA Ashok Manugali expressed his support for the state government’s guarantee schemes, stating that the Congress government had introduced the five guarantee schemes as soon as it came to power. He emphasized that these schemes were being opposed by BJP leaders who were misleading the public by claiming that such schemes would bankrupt the state. He also stated that the opposition’s claims were baseless and that, in reality, these schemes were contributing to the development of a self-reliant Karnataka.
Manugali pointed out that the state was on its way to becoming self-sufficient, and the success stories of such schemes, like the one in Guhihal village, were proof of their effectiveness.
