Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Kingdom’ Captivates Audiences at College Event

Vijay Deverakonda recently made a special appearance at a college event to promote his highly anticipated film, “Kingdom”. Students showered him with admiration as they gathered to meet the actor and catch a glimpse of the much-discussed movie.

The actor took to Instagram to share his excitement and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, saying, “You make me happy… The most adorable student energy.”

The ‘Arjun Reddy’ star also treated his Instagram followers to exclusive glimpses from the promotional event, where he looked stylish in a white cotton shirt and matching trousers, complemented by a brown beanie.

Adding to the anticipation, the film’s creators released a captivating teaser back in February, which introduced Vijay’s character as a “reincarnated leader” of the people. The teaser featured narration by Jr NTR in Telugu, Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi, and Suriya in Tamil. It opened dramatically on a battlefield strewn with fallen bodies, building tension as Vijay’s character made a powerful entrance, wielding a police shield before transitioning to a prisoner’s attire.

Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film boasts a talented technical team, including editor Navin Nooli and cinematographers Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John. The music for “Kingdom” has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

With Tinnanuri at the helm, “Kingdom” promises to deliver an epic cinematic experience. The movie is being produced by Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune4 Cinemas and Srikara Studios, with Sai Soujanya and Vamsi Krishna serving as producers.

Vijay Deverakonda leads a cast that also features Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev in significant roles. Notably, “Kingdom” is expected to be the first installment of a duology, and it is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2025.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay retained the Perambur constituency after winning from two seats in the Assembly election and resigned from the Tiruchchi East seat.

Reports now suggest that popular actor, director, and choreographer Raghava Lawrence may contest the upcoming by-election from Tiruchchi East on behalf of Vijay’s TVK party. The news has been widely discussed on social media.

Raghava Lawrence is known for his charitable work and support for differently-abled people, orphaned children, and senior citizens. His strong public image is seen as an advantage if he enters the race.

Earlier, rumours claimed that actress Trisha Krishnan would contest from the constituency, but those reports were later dismissed.
