Reflecting on his experience, Kaushal describes ‘Chhaava’ as his most challenging role to date.During an interview on Radio Nasha, Vicky stated, “Chhaava has been the toughest role of my life physically. No VFX will be used.’”

He further explained, “I needed to grow my hair, cultivate a beard, and build my body, which took considerable time before we commenced shooting. Our set was bustling with activity; there were 2000 junior artists and 500 of the top stuntmen from across the country. We shot the film in a raw and gritty manner.”

Additionally, Vicky took to Instagram to share a collection of behind-the-scenes moments that showcase the intense preparation he underwent.
