The second Test of the two-match series between India and West Indies, initially set for Eden Gardens in Kolkata this October, has been moved to Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The BCCI announced these changes in a statement regarding the alterations for the 2024-25 home season.

The three-match ODI series for women against Australia, initially set to be held in Chennai this September, will now take place across New Chandigarh and Delhi. The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association has indicated that ongoing upgrades to the pitch and outfield in preparation for next year’s men’s T20 World Cup necessitated this change.

The new PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh will host the first two ODIs, while the final match will occur in Delhi, scheduled between September 14 and 20.

Adjustments to South Africa A Tour

The schedule for the South Africa A tour has also seen modifications. The three one-day matches against India A, originally planned at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, will now be played in Rajkot at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Bengaluru is a host city for the Women’s World Cup and will host the opening match and potentially the final unless Pakistan qualifies, in which case the final will shift to Colombo along with all other matches involving the team.
