TTE Suspended After Viral Vande Bharat Ticket Video
Viral Video : A Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) of the Indian Railways has been suspended after a viral video allegedly showed him offering a Vande Bharat Express ticket at an unofficial discounted price. The video, shared on social media platform X, reportedly captured the TTE offering a seat for Rs 380 instead of the actual fare of nearly Rs 700.
In the video, the railway official allegedly admitted that the arrangement was “not allowed” but still offered to help the passenger travel at the lower amount. The clip quickly went viral and triggered strong reactions online.

Following the controversy, Railway Seva and the DRM Danapur division suspended the TTE and ordered a detailed investigation. Railway authorities stated that strict rules are followed for onboard ticket booking and fare collection, and any violation is treated seriously.

The incident received mixed reactions on social media. While many users criticised the alleged corruption and misuse of authority, some claimed the TTE was only trying to help the passenger.

Thiruvananthapuram: Several devotees from Karnataka have expressed anger over the arrangements at the Kottiyoor Temple festival in Kerala. They have alleged poor management and rude behavior by temple staff and security personnel.
Devotees claimed they had to wait for 8 to 10 hours for darshan. Long queues stretching up to 5 to 6 kilometers were reported. Some visitors felt unwell due to the long wait, while others returned without having darshan.

Videos circulating on social media reportedly show crowding, pushing, and security staff behaving harshly with devotees. Some devotees also alleged that even those who paid ₹1,000 for VIP tickets did not receive proper access for darshan.
