Tragedy in Bengaluru: Woman Kills Daughter, Dies by Suicide

Bengaluru : A tragic incident has been reported in Bengaluru, where a 40-year-old woman allegedly killed her 13-year-old daughter before dying by suicide.

According to the police, the bodies of the woman, identified as Suvarna, and her daughter were discovered at their residence around 11 am. The authorities reached the house after receiving information about a suspected suicide case.

Initial findings from forensic experts suggest that the woman may have smothered her daughter to death. After this, she is believed to have taken her own life.

The police have registered two separate cases in connection with the incident. One complaint was filed by the woman’s husband, Chandrashekar, who accused his wife of murdering their daughter.

Another complaint was filed by Suvarna’s brother, Manjunath. He raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding his sister’s death.

Investigators are currently working to understand the sequence of events. They are also trying to determine the motive behind the incident.

Hospital Staff Steals Gold Jewellery from Patient Admitted For Surgery

Bengaluru: A shocking theft case has been reported from a private hospital on Hennur-Bagalur Main Road in Bengaluru, where a woman staff member allegedly stole gold jewellery belonging to a patient admitted for surgery.

The Hennur police have taken the accused woman staff into custody and are continuing the investigation. The stolen jewellery is said to be worth around Rs 9.7 lakh.

According to the complaint filed by a 41-year-old man from Yelahanka, his wife was admitted to the private hospital on May 1 for a surgery. Before taking her to the operation theatre on May 2 morning, the nursing staff reportedly instructed her to remove all jewellery.

Following the instructions, the woman kept a 65-gram gold mangalsutra chain, 9-gram gold earrings, and 10-gram silver anklets inside her handbag and placed it in the ward cupboard.

After the surgery, at around 2.45 pm, the couple checked the cupboard and found that the jewellery was missing. They were shocked to discover the theft.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry or damage to the cupboard. This raised suspicion on people who had access to the ward.

The hospital management was informed immediately, and a complaint was later lodged with the police. During the investigation, police found that a woman staff member who had recently joined the hospital was involved in the theft.

The accused has been taken into custody and is being questioned by the police.

Man Murdered by Girl’s Father and Relatives over Harassment Case

Bengaluru: A shocking murder case has been reported in Bengaluru. A man was killed by the father of a minor girl along with his relatives. The accused claimed they acted to protect the girl’s future.

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh. The police have arrested four accused in connection with the case. They are Eerayya, Chinnayya, Chetan, and Charan.

According to the police, Ramesh was harassing a minor girl and forcing her to marry him. He had earlier been booked under the POCSO Act for the same behavior. He had also spent time in jail.

Despite this, Ramesh continued to trouble the girl even after his release. He allegedly kept approaching her and pressuring her again.

Upset over this, the girl’s father decided to confront him. He invited Ramesh for a meal. During the meeting, all of them consumed alcohol.

When Ramesh became intoxicated, the accused strangled him using a rope. He died due to suffocation.

After the murder, the accused tried to destroy evidence. They threw the body into a stormwater drain and fled the scene.

The police later took up the investigation. They used technical evidence and CCTV footage to track the suspects.

The truth behind the murder was revealed during the investigation. All four accused have now been arrested.

Pregnant Woman Thrown Out of House over Alleged Affair

Bengaluru: A shocking incident has been reported from the Bagalagunte police station limits in Dasarahalli, where a pregnant woman was allegedly thrown out of her house by her husband.

The accused, Jagadeep (42), works as a BMTC security in-charge. His wife, Shwetha (32), has accused him of having an extramarital affair and subjecting her to cruelty.

The couple got married 14 years ago and were living in government quarters in Jayanagar.

According to Shwetha, she noticed a sudden change in her husband’s behavior. She became suspicious and checked his WhatsApp messages. She then discovered that he was in a relationship with another woman.

When she questioned him about the affair, Jagadeep allegedly assaulted her physically. He also pressured her to terminate her pregnancy and told her that he no longer wanted her.

Shwetha, who is currently six months pregnant, was reportedly thrown out of the house around six months ago. Since then, she has been left without support.

Seeking justice, Shwetha has approached the Bagalagunte Police Station. She has requested legal action against her husband and protection for herself.
