Vicky Kaushal has stirred excitement among fans by hinting at a new song from his upcoming historical action film, ‘Chhaava’. As the release date approaches, the actor unveiled a thrilling preview of a track titled ‘Toofan’, composed by the renowned A.R. Rahman.

On Wednesday, Vicky took to Instagram to share a stunning black-and-white image alongside Rahman, signaling the surge of energy that awaits. His caption read, “A storm is coming! #TOOFAN #ChhaavaOnFeb14.”

This news follows closely on the heels of the release of ‘Jaane Tu’, the first track from ‘Chhaava’, which has been well-received by fans. The song was introduced at a music event held in Hyderabad, where Vicky made a special appearance.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is currently recuperating from a leg injury, also made her presence felt at the event, appearing in a wheelchair.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, ‘Chhaava’ features a stellar cast with Vicky Kaushal playing the iconic Maratha ruler, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film explores the valorous reign of Sambhaji Maharaj, starting from his coronation in 1681 and highlighting his courage and leadership during a tumultuous phase in Indian history. Akshaye Khanna plays a significant role alongside Vicky.

While promoting the film in Jaipur, Vicky shared insights into the rigorous preparation required to portray this historical figure. “A biopic demands significant preparation not just from the actor but the entire team. It’s challenging to vividly recreate a different era, particularly with a sizable budget like this. We’ve endeavored to ensure it feels as authentic as possible,” he explained.

His preparation regimen included physical training, action choreography, bodybuilding, and comprehensive research into the historical context of the period.
