Toaster Teaser: RajKummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra Spark Hilarious Comedy Fun
The teaser offers a sneak peek into a comical plot where RajKummar and Sanya’s characters gift a toaster at a wedding. However, in a shocking turn of events, the wedding is unexpectedly called off.
What ensues are a series of funny mishaps as RajKummar’s frugal character attempts to reclaim the toaster from the couple.

Alongside the dynamic duo, the film features an impressive ensemble cast that includes Abhishek Banerjee, Upendra Limaye, Seema Pahwa, Jitendra Joshi, and Archana Puran Singh. With such a talent-rich lineup, audiences can expect a delightful mix of laughter and drama.

‘Toaster’ also holds personal significance for RajKummar Rao and his wife, Patralekhaa, as it marks the debut project of their newly launched production company, KAMPA Film. The name ‘KAMPA’ is particularly meaningful, as it combines the initials of their mothers, honoring them.
“We’ve always believed in the power of storytelling,” Patralekhaa expressed, sharing her enthusiasm for their new venture. “With KAMPA, we’re excited to bring these stories to a wider audience.”
RajKummar added, “Cinema has always been a shared passion for us, and KAMPA provides an avenue to bring to life the stories we care about. This is just the beginning of our journey together.”
During Netflix’s ‘Next on Netflix’ event in Mumbai, RajKummar spoke about the joy of working on the film. “From the moment we read the script, we knew it was special. Sanya called me right away and said, ‘Let’s do it! It’ll be fun.’ Having collaborated before, we were confident we’d enjoy our time on set.”
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay retained the Perambur constituency after winning from two seats in the Assembly election and resigned from the Tiruchchi East seat.
Reports now suggest that popular actor, director, and choreographer Raghava Lawrence may contest the upcoming by-election from Tiruchchi East on behalf of Vijay’s TVK party. The news has been widely discussed on social media.
Raghava Lawrence is known for his charitable work and support for differently-abled people, orphaned children, and senior citizens. His strong public image is seen as an advantage if he enters the race.
Earlier, rumours claimed that actress Trisha Krishnan would contest from the constituency, but those reports were later dismissed.

The by-election for Tiruchchi East has not yet been announced, and there has been no official confirmation regarding the party’s candidate. However, reports indicate that Vijay may choose a close associate to contest from the seat.
Film : Kannada star actor Duniya Vijay is set to appear in the upcoming Telugu film Slum Dog. The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role and is directed by Puri Jagannadh.
The film has already created a positive buzz in the Telugu film industry. Reports suggest that Duniya Vijay will be seen in a unique and important role.
The makers have announced that the first teaser of Slum Dog will be released on June 8. They also shared a new poster featuring Vijay Sethupathi holding a blood-stained weapon.
The film is said to be based on life in a slum and revolves around a beggar mafia story. Earlier, the team released a poster of Duniya Vijay in a colorful outfit and hat, creating curiosity about his character.

Film: Kannada actor and filmmaker Rakshit Shetty celebrated his birthday on June 6 with fans and film personalities showering him with wishes on social media.
