Three Killed in Horrific Road Accident in Ramanagara

Ramanagara: Three people died on the spot in a horrific road accident near Kaggalipura in Ramanagara district on the Bengaluru–Kanakapura main road.

The accident occurred when a car rammed into the rear side of a lorry near Agara Cross at around 3 a.m.

The deceased have been identified as Syed Pasha (22), Unif Ban (23), and Azhar Pasha (22). All three died at the scene due to the severe impact of the crash.

Another person, identified as Faraz, sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment.

According to reports, the car was travelling at high speed when it hit the lorry moving ahead on the road. The impact of the collision completely damaged the car.

Police from Kaggalipura Police Station rushed to the spot and conducted an inspection. The bodies of the deceased were later shifted to Rajarajeshwari Hospital for post-mortem examination.

2 Nagpur Law Students Killed in Bike Crash Near Campus

Nagpur: Two students from Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) lost their lives in a tragic bike accident near the campus.

The incident happened on Wednesday night. The victims were identified as Saksham Bansod (20) and Aryan Sontakke (20). Both were third-year students.

They had gone out for dinner. The accident took place while they were returning to the university. Their bike reportedly skidded on a rough road behind the campus. It then fell into a ditch.

The area was isolated. No one noticed the accident at that time.

One of the students had left his phone at the hotel. The other student’s phone battery had died. They could not call anyone for help.

The students did not return to the hostel by 10:30 pm. The university informed their parents. A search operation was started.

The next morning, a passerby found their bodies in the ditch. The police were informed immediately.

Police said the rider lost control due to speed. Both students suffered serious injuries. They died at the spot.

A case of accidental death has been registered. Police have started an investigation.

Bansod’s father is a civil judge in Wardha. Sontakke’s father is a lawyer.

The university suspended all classes for one day to mourn the loss.

Nashik TCS Case: Accused Nida Khan Claims Pregnancy, Seeks Bail

Mumbai: Nida Khan, accused in a forced religious conversion case at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik, has claimed she is pregnant and moved a local court for anticipatory bail.

The 25-year-old is currently absconding. Police said her pregnancy claim will be medically verified.

Seven employees, including an HR head, have been arrested after complaints by eight women alleging mental and sexual harassment between 2022 and 2026. One accused allegedly exploited a woman on a false promise of marriage, while another behaved inappropriately.

TCS has suspended the accused and is cooperating with the investigation. N Chandrasekaran termed the allegations serious and ordered a detailed probe led by Arathi Subramanian.

Woman’s Skeletal Remains Found in Farm

Nelamangala: Skeletal remains of a woman were found in a farm in Hale Nijagal village, located on the outskirts of Nelamangala.

The remains included a skull and a few bones of the hands and legs. They were discovered by the farm owner while working on the land. The sight caused panic, and he immediately informed the Dabaspet Police.

Police officers reached the spot along with a dog squad and conducted an inspection. After preliminary investigation, the remains were identified as those of Yamuna, a woman from Tumakuru who had been reported missing earlier.

The Dabaspet Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Officials are trying to find out whether the death was natural, accidental, or a case of murder.
