Teaser for ‘Sardaar Ji 3’: Diljit Dosanjh is back as the funniest ghostbuster!
Directed by Amar Hundal, ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27. The film promises an exhilarating blend of humor, quirky ghost-hunting escapades, and thrilling action sequences.
Returning in his iconic ghostbuster role, Dosanjh is joined by a stellar cast featuring Neeru Bajwa, Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi.
The teaser, shared by Dosanjh on Instagram, offers a sneak peek into the chaos that awaits. It begins in a haunted castle in the UK, where a squad of heavily armed soldiers attempts to confront a hidden spirit, only to falter almost instantly, leaving the mansion’s owner in desperate need of assistance. That’s when Dosanjh’s ghost-hunting hero enters the scene.

What ensues is a delightful blend of comedy and mayhem. One particularly amusing scene features Dosanjh’s character trying to negotiate with some witches in his home, who casually request a medical kit, a makeup box, and other quirky items before agreeing to help him.
The teaser wraps up on a comedic note, with Dosanjh challenging the ghost—not for scaring people, but for disrespecting him by omitting the respectful “Ji” when addressing him as “Sardaar.”
The ‘Sardaar Ji’ franchise holds a unique position in Punjabi cinema. The first film, released in 2015 and directed by Rohit Jugraj, was a massive success, breaking box office records and introducing Punjabi audiences to the innovative idea of a ghost-hunting hero wrapped in comedy.
Its sequel, ‘Sardaar Ji 2,’ also directed by Jugraj, premiered in 2016 and was similarly well-received for its humor and fantastical storyline.
Now, nearly eight years later, Dosanjh is ready to breathe new life into the franchise with ‘Sardaar Ji 3,’ featuring a fresh storyline and a new directorial vision from Amar Hundal.
