The number of devotees seeking the divine blessings of Tulu Nadu’s Daivas is increasing every day. In recent years, several well-known actors and actresses have participated in Daiva Nema to offer prayers for their wishes. Many others have visited the sacred shrines, praying with devotion before leaving.

Recently, Tamil film star Vishal visited a Tulu Nadu Daiva Shannidhi and humbly offered his prayers.

On Tuesday, Vishal attended the Nema of Jarandaya Daiva at Haripade, near Pakshikere, Mulki. He had initially traveled to seek the blessings of Goddess Mookambika in Kollur and later visited Jarandaya’s shannidhi. Fans had expressed concerns about his health, but Vishal clarified that he was fine. However, during his visit, he prayed to the Daiva for relief from any health issues. The temple priests also advised him to return after his recovery and offer Tulabhara Seva as gratitude.

Vishal and his family participated in the Nema with great devotion, witnessing the sacred rituals. During the ceremony, the Daiva assured Vishal, saying, “Do not shed tears, I am here for you,” providing him with divine reassurance.

Speaking to Namma Kudla media in Kannada, Vishal shared that he learned about Tulu Nadu’s Daiva traditions through Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara. He mentioned that this was his first time witnessing such a grand spiritual event and expressed his overwhelming experience.

Vishal’s health concerns had worried his fans in Tamil Nadu, especially since he had not signed any new films after the release of Madha Gaja Raja, a project started 12 years ago and released last month. With many uncertainties surrounding his career, Vishal turned to the Daivas of Tulu Nadu for blessings and divine protection before moving forward.
