Actor Sunny Singh, who is set to star in the upcoming horror action-comedy ‘The Bhootnii’, recently shared his experiences working alongside Sanjay Dutt in the film.

Sunny expressed that he has admired Sanjay since he was a child and has always dreamed of the opportunity to collaborate with him.

Sunny, who plays the crucial role of Shantanu in the movie, reflected on what it was like to share the screen with Sanjay Dutt. He stated, “The experience was extraordinary. I’ve been a fan of his since childhood and it has always been a dream of mine to work with him. I grew up watching him and never missed any of his songs or films. In fact, I even tried to emulate his style by dressing like him in my younger days. His look, hairstyle, and walk have always impressed me.”

Sunny added, “We had plans to work together on a film a long time ago, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. However, after the lockdown, we connected for ‘The Bhootnii’. It has been a rewarding experience to learn from him. I often reach out to him for discussions, even when we’re off-set.”

‘The Bhootnii’ aims to push the boundaries of the horror genre within Hindi cinema. The film features a diverse cast including Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan. The enthusiastic reception of its trailer, along with the star cast’s recent promotional visit to Pune, has further heightened audience anticipation for the film’s release.

The film is produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, with Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt serving as co-producers. ‘The Bhootnii’ is scheduled to hit cinemas on April 18, 2025.
