‘SSMB’: Rajamouli Increases Security Following Leak of Mahesh Babu’s Shoot Clips

The highly anticipated collaborative project between Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu, currently referred to as ‘SSMB’, has generated significant excitement among fans since its announcement. The union of the renowned director behind ‘RRR’ and the popular superstar has sparked a wave of curiosity. Production kicked off in full swing following a puja ceremony, but the project has encountered challenges related to unauthorized leaks of information. As filming continues in Koraput, Odisha, several clips have found their way online, prompting the team to heighten security measures.

The first breach occurred when images of Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran at the Hyderabad airport began circulating on social media. While the filmmakers had not officially disclosed Prithviraj’s involvement in the project, the news was unintentionally revealed by his mother. Shortly thereafter, the Public Relations Officer confirmed that Prithviraj is indeed part of the cast.

Soon after, videos showing a grand set being constructed at Talamali Hilltop in Semiliguda, Koraput emerged online, showcasing an expansive area prepared for filming. A particular clip of Mahesh Babu filming a scene triggered an urgent response to enhance security, as it revealed significant plot details.

According to reports, the production team is contemplating legal action to mitigate further leaks, while SS Rajamouli has implemented a three-tier security system at the shooting location for the remainder of the filming schedule.

In a recent special screening of ‘RRR’ in Japan, Rajamouli hinted at his collaboration with Mahesh Babu, stating, “His name is Mahesh Babu. He is a Telugu actor,” to cheers from the audience. He added, “He is very handsome. I hope we can complete the film soon so I can bring him here for the release, where I’m sure you will love him too.”

To date, the team has already filmed segments of ‘SSMB’ in Hyderabad prior to the Odisha schedule. If the reports are accurate, this project will also mark Priyanka Chopra’s return to Bollywood.

‘Tulunada Mann’ Song from Kajja Celebrates the Spirit of Tulunadu

Manipal: The makers of the upcoming Tulu film Kajja have released the vibrant video song “Tulunada Mann,” offering a colourful tribute to the culture and heritage of Tulunadu.

The song is sung by music director Likit Prasad Shetty and Divyanidhi Rai, with lead actor Siddharth Shetty delivering energetic dance performances. Beautifully shot by cinematographer Chantu Meppayur, the video showcases iconic locations across Mangaluru, including Kudroli, along with traditional art forms such as Bharatanatyam and Tiger Dance.

Penned by Mohan Raj and composed by Likit Prasad Shetty, the track highlights the rich cultural identity of the coastal region.

Produced by Vishanth Menezes under the Sumukha Productions banner, Kajja is directed by Jishnu S. Menon and Siddharth Shetty. The film also features multilingual actor Vasishta N. Simha in a key role.

Following special premiere screenings across Coastal Karnataka, Kajja is set for a statewide theatrical release on June 11.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay retained the Perambur constituency after winning from two seats in the Assembly election and resigned from the Tiruchchi East seat.

Reports now suggest that popular actor, director, and choreographer Raghava Lawrence may contest the upcoming by-election from Tiruchchi East on behalf of Vijay’s TVK party. The news has been widely discussed on social media.

Raghava Lawrence is known for his charitable work and support for differently-abled people, orphaned children, and senior citizens. His strong public image is seen as an advantage if he enters the race.

Earlier, rumours claimed that actress Trisha Krishnan would contest from the constituency, but those reports were later dismissed.
