Shreya Ghoshal Delivers a Spiritual Journey with Her Song ‘Namo Shankara’ Dedicated to Lord Shiva
On Monday, Shreya shared the song’s poster on her Instagram account, accompanying it with a caption that read, “Har Har Mahadev! This Mahashivratri, let your devotion be fueled by our presentation of #NamoShankara – a moving tribute to the divine. This song celebrates the supreme energy of Mahadev. Immerse yourself in the chants of Shiva and feel the power. Coming soon! Stay tuned.”
‘Namo Shankara’ is set to offer a profound devotional and spiritual journey, infused with reverence for Mahadev. Fans are eagerly anticipating this divine melody to mark the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, as Shreya Ghoshal’s enchanting voice adds to the festivities.
The year 2024 has already been remarkable for Shreya, highlighted by two major hits. Her tracks ‘Ami Je Tomar’ from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and ‘Angaaron’ from ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ have topped the charts, reinforcing her status as a legend in the music industry.
Recently, Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam graced the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, where they performed a special rendition of ‘Tere Mere Milan Ki Yeh Raina’ for the beloved Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.
A promotional video released by the show featured Sonu and Shreya on the hot seat, with Sonu telling Big B, “Shreya and I wanted to do something special for you. This is our first time performing this together—just our way to express our love for you.”
The video showcased Sonu singing the Hindi version of the track while Shreya performed in Bangla. Sonu was elegantly dressed in a crimson suit, while Shreya looked stunning in a classic black saree. ‘Tere Mere Milan Ki Yeh Raina’ is from the film ‘Abhimaan’, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan.

Manipal: The makers of the upcoming Tulu film Kajja have released the vibrant video song “Tulunada Mann,” offering a colourful tribute to the culture and heritage of Tulunadu.
The song is sung by music director Likit Prasad Shetty and Divyanidhi Rai, with lead actor Siddharth Shetty delivering energetic dance performances. Beautifully shot by cinematographer Chantu Meppayur, the video showcases iconic locations across Mangaluru, including Kudroli, along with traditional art forms such as Bharatanatyam and Tiger Dance.
Penned by Mohan Raj and composed by Likit Prasad Shetty, the track highlights the rich cultural identity of the coastal region.

Produced by Vishanth Menezes under the Sumukha Productions banner, Kajja is directed by Jishnu S. Menon and Siddharth Shetty. The film also features multilingual actor Vasishta N. Simha in a key role.
Following special premiere screenings across Coastal Karnataka, Kajja is set for a statewide theatrical release on June 11.
