Shilpa Shinde Criticizes Hospital Following Manoj Santoshi’s Death: ‘They Did Dialysis on a Deceased Patient!’

TV actress Shilpa Shinde, recognized for her role in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ and as the champion of ‘Bigg Boss 11,’ is outraged by the circumstances surrounding the death of writer Manoj Santoshi. Having supported Santoshi financially throughout his treatment, she now accuses the hospital of serious medical negligence.

Manoj Santoshi, the talented wordsmith behind the clever dialogues of ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain,’ was battling liver cancer and in need of a transplant. Shilpa had been actively helping to fundraise for his medical care. Tragically, Santoshi passed away on Monday, and Shilpa alleges that negligence at KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad was to blame.

In an interview with ‘Times Now,’ she voiced her anger, stating that the hospital operates as “a business to make money.” She further claimed that even after Santoshi’s passing, medical staff continued unnecessary procedures such as dialysis.

“I’ll put it plainly—it’s a despicable business. Hospitals are merely money-making enterprises. They performed dialysis on a dead man! This is sheer negligence. I can’t tell if the staff there are doctors or barbers,” Shilpa vented.

While in Mumbai for work, Shilpa received what she believed was good news: an organ donor was found for Santoshi. Elated, she found it hard to sleep that night, feeling relieved that hope was on the horizon. As the one managing the payments, she was ready to make the necessary deposit the following morning.

However, her world turned upside down at 6 AM when she received a call informing her that Manoj had slipped into a coma. Shilpa asserts that critical medical procedures were mishandled the night before, leading to his rapid decline.

“The medication needed for surgery was halted the night before. Even the medicine for his liver was allowed to leak. A nurse merely said ‘Sorry,’ and I snapped, ‘What do you mean sorry?’” Shilpa recounted.

When she arrived at the hospital, she learned that Manoj’s liver complications had led to kidney failure. Suspecting foul play, she confronted the medical team, questioning if they were attempting to harvest his organs.

“They showed me that they were performing dialysis, yet I could see he was gone. This isn’t just negligence; it’s theft. I’m a living witness! They are unfortunate that I’m here, and I will speak out because this happens to so many people,” she declared.
