Shekhar Kapur Shares Nostalgic Photo of Father-Son Duo A.R. Rahman and A.R. Ameen
In the spirit of legacy, Shekhar Kapur’s daughter, Kaveri Kapur, is poised to make her acting debut in Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film, “Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story.” She will share the screen with Vardhan Puri, the grandson of the late Amrish Puri. There were earlier rumors suggesting that Kaveri would debut in her father’s project, “Masoom – The Next Generation,” but those speculations have been proven inaccurate.
Filmed entirely in the UK, details about “Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story” remain closely guarded, but the film is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on February 11. Prior to stepping into acting, Kaveri has already featured in four music videos.
Meanwhile, Shekhar Kapur was recently bestowed with the esteemed Padma Bhushan in recognition of his significant contributions to Indian cinema on the eve of Republic Day. The director of ‘Masoom’ expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, “What an honor! I am humbled by the Government of India’s recognition with the #PadmaBhushan.
