Seven Indian Pilgrims Killed in Bus Accident
Nepal: A tragic road accident has claimed the lives of seven Indian pilgrims in Nepal. The incident occurred when a private microbus lost control and fell into a deep gorge.
The pilgrims were returning after offering prayers at the famous Manakamana Temple in Nepal. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into the gorge.
Seven people died in the accident. The victims have been identified as 58-year-old Muthu Kumar, 58-year-old Anamalik, 59-year-old Meenakshi, 53-year-old Shivagami, 57-year-old Vijayal, 58-year-old Meena, and 60-year-old Tamil Arasi.

Seven other passengers were injured in the accident. They have been admitted to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities reached the spot and started rescue operations soon after the accident. Police have started an investigation to find out the exact cause of the crash.

10-Day Ceasefire Announced Between Israel and Lebanon ebanon

Former Virginia Lt. Governor Shoots Wife Dead, Dies by Suicide
Washington: A tragic incident has been reported in the U.S. state of Virginia, where former Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax allegedly shot his wife and then died by suicide.
According to officials, the bodies of Fairfax (47) and his wife, Dr. Cerina Fairfax (49), were found inside their home. Kevin Davis confirmed the details of the case.
Police said that Justin Fairfax shot his wife in the basement of their house. After that, he went upstairs to a bedroom and died by suicide.
Sources close to the family said that the couple had been facing issues related to divorce. Dr. Cerina Fairfax had filed for divorce last year. This reportedly left Fairfax deeply distressed.

Justin Fairfax was once considered a rising leader in the Democratic Party. He was elected as the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2017. However, his political career was affected by serious allegations of sexual assault made by two women in 2019.

Massive Fire Reported at BYD Facility in Shenzhen
A major fire was reported at a facility owned by BYD in Shenzhen. The incident took place in the Pingshan district and led to a large emergency response.
The fire broke out in a multi-storey parking structure within the industrial complex. The building was used to store test vehicles and scrapped units. Thick smoke filled the sky and spread across nearby areas.
Several videos on social media showed flames moving rapidly across the structure. The visuals also captured dark smoke rising high above the site.
Firefighters and emergency teams arrived quickly to control the situation. Many fire trucks and police personnel were deployed. After hours of effort, the fire was brought under control and later fully extinguished.
Officials confirmed that no injuries or deaths have been reported. The company stated that the building did not contain any vehicles meant for customers. It only stored experimental and retired vehicles.
Early reports indicate that the fire may have started due to unsafe external construction work. Authorities have also said that there is no evidence linking the fire to battery defects in production vehicles.

The company clarified that its main manufacturing operations were not affected. Production at the plant is continuing without disruption.
