Season 3 of ‘The Rings of Power’: Grander, Bolder, and Even More Epic!
The upcoming season will feature the return of two esteemed directors—Charlotte Brändström and Sanaa Hamri—along with the addition of renowned filmmaker Stefan Schwartz. Each of these accomplished directors will direct multiple episodes, contributing to the next chapter of this beloved high-fantasy series that has enchanted viewers around the globe.
Since its launch, ‘The Rings of Power’ has attracted over 170 million global viewers. Vernon Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon MGM Studios, stated, “The journey through Middle-earth continues to captivate audiences. Season 3 will immerse fans deeper into the legendary narratives that have defined this world.”
Charlotte Brändström, a seasoned presence in the series, returns in a dual capacity as both executive producer and director. Her impressive filmography includes notable projects like ‘The Witcher’ (Netflix), ‘The Man in the High Castle’ (Prime Video), and ‘The Outsider’ (HBO). Having significantly contributed to Seasons 1 and 2 of ‘The Rings of Power’, she will bring her extensive experience back for the third season.
Also rejoining the team is Sanaa Hamri, who directed episodes in Season 2. Born in Morocco, Hamri has made her mark by directing episodes of ‘The Wheel of Time’ (Prime Video) and the acclaimed series ‘Empire’ (Fox). Her diverse experience in film, television, and music videos—collaborating with stars like Rihanna and Jay-Z—infuses the series with a distinctive storytelling angle.

Making his debut with this season is Stefan Schwartz, a seasoned director celebrated for his work on ‘The Boys’ (Prime Video), ‘Luther’ (BBC), and ‘The Walking Dead’ (AMC). His ability to craft intense, character-driven stories will bring a new energy to ‘The Rings of Power’.
Since its premiere, ‘The Rings of Power’ has been a groundbreaking production for Amazon. Season 1 achieved record-breaking figures as the largest TV debut in Prime Video history, while Season 2 continued to draw immense viewership as the most-watched returning season based on hours streamed.
The third season will once again be overseen by showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, with support from executive producers Lindsey Weber, Justin Doble, and Kate Hazell to steer the creative direction. In addition to her directing role, Brändström will serve as an executive producer.
Other notable production figures include producer Matthew Penry-Davey, with co-producers Ally O’Leary, Tim Keene, and Andrew Lee also integral to the project.
Film: Actor Katrina Kaif celebrated her first Mother’s Day with a sweet surprise from husband Vicky Kaushal and their son Vihaan. Katrina shared photos on social media showing a bouquet of pink roses and a handwritten note.
The note read, “Happy first Mother’s Day, my love! Love, Vihaan and Papa Kaushal!” Katrina also posted a lovely picture with her baby boy while reading the children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. She captioned the post, “A happy mama’s pov.”
Katrina and Vicky welcomed their son Vihaan on November 7, 2025. The couple got married in 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.

On the career front, Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas, while Vicky recently appeared in Chhaava. He will next star in Love and War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Chennai: Actress Trisha Krishnan shared her first social media post after attending the oath-taking ceremony of Vijay in Chennai. Her caption, “The love is always louder,” quickly caught the attention of fans online.
For the special event, Trisha wore a seafoam-green saree with golden designs. She completed her traditional look with a white gajra, red stone jewellery and light makeup.
Vijay recently took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, secured 118 seats in the Assembly elections.
The post also renewed social media discussions about the rumoured relationship between Vijay and Trisha. However, both stars have not reacted to the rumours.
