Salman Khan Confirms Atlee’s Film is Shelved; Announces New Project with Sanjay Dutt

Fans of Salman Khan are excitedly anticipating the release of his latest action film, ‘Sikandar.’ Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this highly anticipated movie is set to hit theaters on March 30. In the lead-up to the premiere, the star participated in a media event at a Mumbai hotel, where he discussed his upcoming collaboration with ‘Jawan’ director Atlee. Additionally, he announced his reunion with Sanjay Dutt for another major project.

Recently, it was reported that Salman Khan and Atlee were set to collaborate on a big-budget film, with speculation that it might also feature another superstar, either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan. However, whispers of the project being put on hold due to budgetary concerns began to circulate. Speaking about the collaboration, Salman stated, “Atlee has penned a substantial, big-budget action film. The project with him is currently delayed; the budget is a concern. I’m not sure which of the two legends (Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan) will be part of it.”

To the delight of his fans, Salman confirmed an impending collaboration with Sanjay Dutt. He expressed, “Following ‘Sikandar,’ I’ll be working on another major action film, where the action sequences will be on a whole new level. It features a raw and rugged style.” When asked for more details about the film, he simply stated, “I’m working with my elder brother from the industry… Sanjay Dutt.”

In addition to these projects, Salman Khan also mentioned the continuation of his association with Sooraj Barjatya, revealing that they will start filming after Barjatya completes his current obligations. For those who may not know, Barjatya is presently directing a film with Ayushmann Khurrana.

As for ‘Sikandar,’ it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik, Smita Patil, and Sathyaraj in significant roles. This film marks a reunion between Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala following their successful collaboration on the blockbuster ‘Kick’ in 2014.
