Stepping back in time to embody such a character was thrilling, and reuniting with Abhimanyu, a good friend, added to the allure.”

Bringing to life a historical figure like King Someshwar, who isn’t widely documented, posed unique challenges. Ronit mentioned that there were limited detailed references available about Someshwar, necessitating that he construct the character using various sources while relying significantly on the script’s direction.

“There isn’t much documented about Someshwar’s personal life, but there are numerous historical warriors and kings for inspiration. I studied their mannerisms and their presence,” he explained. He emphasized that the script provided a robust foundation, guiding him through the character’s emotional and psychological complexities.

Beyond emotional nuances, the role demanded considerable physical preparation. As a warrior, Ronit recognized the importance of embodying the strength and presence necessary for the battlefield. “It wasn’t just about donning a costume; I needed to prepare physically to reflect the stature of a warrior king. This required training and a commitment to channeling the spirit of a fighter,” he noted.
