The creators of the highly anticipated film “Raid 2” have just revealed the first-look poster featuring Riteish Deshmukh. In this striking image, the actor portrays a politician with a sharp and intense demeanor. Announcing his character’s debut from the Ajay Devgn-starrer on social media, Riteish captioned it, “Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai! #Raid2 is coming to cinemas near you on 1st May.” The poster showcases the Masti actor confidently raising his hand amidst a crowd, embodying authority in this new political role.

Deshmukh is dressed in a kurta paired with a jacket. Just a day prior, the filmmakers teased Ajay Devgn’s first look as Amay Patnaik, who is embarking on a thrilling new raid in a different city. The Singham star shared an intriguing poster featuring himself and wrote, “Naya Shehar. Nayi File. Aur Amay Patnaik Ki Ek Nayi Raid. #Raid2 arriving in theaters near you on 1st May, 2025.”

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, “Raid 2” also stars Vaani Kapoor. This sequel to the 2018 hit “Raid” continues the story of IRS officer Amay Patnaik as he confronts another intricate white-collar crime. Like its predecessor, the sequel takes inspiration from real-life income tax raids, illustrating how officers from the Income Tax Department work alongside intelligence agencies to investigate and expose white-collar criminal activities.

In the original “Raid,” Devgn played the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, alongside Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, “Raid 2” is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a production of Panorama Studios. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on May 1, 2025.
