Ranveer Allahbadia’s Controversies: Exploring BeerBiceps’ Most Scandalous Statements

Published

on

Popular YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, known for his BeerBiceps brand, has found himself in another controversy, which isn’t surprising given his history. During a recent episode of India’s Got Latent, Allahbadia made a comment that outraged viewers and ignited a social media backlash. While interacting with a contestant, he asked a highly inappropriate and disturbing question: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or participate once and then stop it forever?” As if that weren’t shocking enough, he also inquired about the contestant’s genital size.

Co-host Raina was noticeably startled, reacting with an exclamatory, “What the f? Kya ho gaya hai Ranveer bhai ko?” (What has happened to Ranveer?).

In the wake of heavy criticism, Allahbadia issued a public apology through a video, acknowledging that he had overstepped his bounds. Nonetheless, many see this as part of a troubling trend in his content, reigniting conversations about his history of inappropriate remarks and questionable discussions on his platforms.

**A History of Controversies Involving Ranveer Allahbadia:**
This isn’t the first occasion where the social media figure has faced backlash. Here are some notable past incidents:

– **2013:** On a podcast, Allahbadia prompted an advocate to name individuals who should leave India. When the advocate named journalist Barkha Dutt and historians Romila Thapar and Irfan Habib, it incited outrage. Despite the backlash, Allahbadia refused to delete the clip.

– **Recurring Meme Material:** His repeated question on his podcast, “Maut ke baare mein sochte ho?” (Do you think about death?), has turned into an ongoing joke online.

– **October 2024:** In a discussion with ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, Allahbadia explored extraterrestrial theories, suggesting that alien life likely exists at various stages of evolution across the universe. Somnath fueled the discourse further by affirming the presence of aliens around us.

The current controversy has once again placed Allahbadia under scrutiny, prompting many to question the limits of content creation.

Blue Line Metro Opening Likely to Be Delayed to 2027

Published

on

Mangluru: The much-awaited Namma Metro Blue Line project is likely to face another delay.

The Blue Line will connect Silk Board with KR Puram and link the busy Outer Ring Road (ORR) with the city’s major IT corridors.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) had earlier planned to start commercial operations by the end of 2026.

However, the opening may now be pushed to early or mid-2027. Several civil and system works are still pending.

The Byappanahalli depot work is one of the major concerns. The depot is important for the operation and maintenance of metro trains.

The work to connect the Blue Line with the depot is yet to be completed.

Construction of metro viaducts is also pending at Marathahalli and the Central Silk Board junctions.

The project has also faced technical challenges at Iblur. These include the presence of a high-pressure GAIL gas pipeline and a Cauvery water supply pipeline.

Land acquisition issues have also affected the construction of the station.

Work at Silk Board has also been delayed. BMRCL received permission for pillar construction from traffic police and civic agencies only after some delay.

BMRCL is trying to begin trial runs between KR Puram and HSR Layout by October 2026.

However, officials have indicated that commercial operations on the Blue Line will not be possible in 2026.

The delay has raised concerns about traffic congestion on the ORR.

The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is planning to begin white-topping work on the ORR from October 2026. The project is estimated to cost around Rs.450 crore.

If the road work begins before the Blue Line becomes operational, traffic problems could increase on the busy IT corridor.

Around 8 to 10 lakh employees and other commuters use this corridor every day.

In view of the expected traffic disruption, Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has asked officials to discuss the possibility of allowing companies to provide up to 50 per cent work-from-home facilities for their employees.
