Radhika shared how Natasha expertly coordinated the event’s schedule to accommodate her breastfeeding routine, even joining her in the bathroom for milk expression and bringing along her champagne. “Being a new mum and working is tough enough; this level of care and sensitivity is rare in our film industry and is deeply appreciated,” Radhika noted, emphasizing her gratitude for the support.
This special moment came after Radhika’s previous posts celebrating her first major public appearance since giving birth. At the BAFTAs, her film ‘Sister Midnight’ was nominated for Outstanding Debut, a tremendous recognition for the comedy-horror directed by Karan Kandhari. The film, in which Radhika portrays a woman navigating an arranged marriage, has made a notable impact on British cinema.

Chef Vikas Khanna Supports Gauri Khan’s Restaurant ‘Torii’ in Response to ‘Fake Paneer’ Accusations

In his video, Sarthak claimed that Torii served synthetic paneer, demonstrating an iodine test which purportedly showed a color change in the paneer as evidence of added starch. He suggested that this reaction indicated the presence of artificial ingredients. The video quickly went viral, prompting Torii to issue a statement standing by their use of high-quality ingredients.
The restaurant clarified, “The iodine test shows the presence of starch, but it does not determine the authenticity of the paneer. As our dish contains soy-based components, the reaction is expected. We uphold the quality of our paneer and the integrity of our ingredients at Torii.” They also expressed their surprise at the claims, emphasizing their rigorous quality control throughout the sourcing and preparation processes.
As the debate surrounding the alleged fake paneer gained momentum on social media, chef Vikas Khanna took to Instagram Stories to defend Gauri Khan’s establishment. He criticized the spread of misinformation, stating, “I’ve never encountered such egregious misconceptions like a YouTuber calling himself a food scientist.” He clarified that the blue-black color produced by the iodine test indicates the presence of starch, a common ingredient found in everyday foods such as potatoes, bread, and flour, and noted that cross-contamination from soy-based items could result in similar reactions.
