In response, Madhavan has clarified that only a portion of a message led to these speculations.

In a recent incident, a young fan reached out to him on Instagram, complimenting his acting. The message concluded with several heart and kiss emojis. After Madhavan responded with a note of gratitude, the fan posted a screenshot of their exchange on her own social media, which prompted some online observers to wrongly assume that Madhavan was responding to her affectionate emojis.

Madhavan recounted this experience, sharing that videos of his explanation have been making waves on social media. He stated, “As an actor, I receive many messages on Instagram and other platforms. For instance, a young girl messaged me, saying she loved my movie and thought I was a fabulous actor. She ended her message with lots of hearts and kisses. When someone communicates with me in such detail, I feel compelled to respond, so I said, ‘Thank you so much. That’s very kind of you. God bless you.’”

He continued, “After my reply, she took a screenshot and posted it on Instagram. What people only notice are the hearts and kisses, leading to the assumption that I’m responding to that.”

Madhavan elaborated on the impact of such misunderstandings, emphasizing how they make individuals hesitant to engage on social media. “My intention was solely to reply to her message. But because of a minor detail, people jump to conclusions and say, ‘Oh, Madhavan is chatting with young girls.’ If I have to tiptoe around every message I post on social media, imagine how challenging it must be for others without my experience.”

On the professional front, Madhavan’s latest project was the web series ‘Hisaab Barabar’ on Zee 5. He has several Hindi and Tamil films in the pipeline, including Tamil titles ‘Adhirshtasaali’ and ‘Test,’ as well as Bollywood films ‘Amriki Pandit,’ ‘De De Pyaar De 2,’ ‘Kesari Chapter 2,’ and ‘Dhurandhar.’
