Advancing the Mission Rozgar, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann distributed appointment letters for government positions to 497 individuals on Wednesday, marking a significant achievement that has positively impacted the lives of 50,892 families over the past three years since he took office.During the event, the Chief Minister presented appointment letters to youth in various departments, including Water Supply and Sanitation, School Education, Higher Education and Languages, Rural Development, and Science, Technology, and Environment.

Addressing the audience at the Municipal Bhawan, the Chief Minister emphasized the significance of this moment, highlighting the new recruits’ inclusion in the Punjab government family. He expressed confidence that these young individuals would actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the state within their respective departments. Bhagwant Singh Mann noted that for the first time in Punjab’s history, a government has successfully created a record 50,892 jobs within just 35 months of taking office.

He proudly stated that all appointments have been made purely on a merit basis, free from corruption and favoritism. Furthermore, he criticized opposition parties for their failure to recognize the employment opportunities being created, accusing them of “selective blindness,” as they did not provide even a single job to the youth during their governance.

The Chief Minister assured that the state government promptly fills vacancies in various departments and has implemented a transparent recruitment process, ensuring that not a single appointment out of the nearly 50,000 jobs has faced legal challenges thus far.

Mann also highlighted the recent incident of youth deported from the USA, reflecting that the youth of Punjab must harness their potential at home rather than seeking opportunities abroad. He mentioned that the government is creating numerous avenues for young people to excel, noting that over 51,000 individuals have secured government jobs through hard work and dedication.
