The highly anticipated American action comedy “Heads of State,” featuring Priyanka Chopra, is set to debut worldwide on Prime Video on July 2, 2025.

Described as an action-filled comedy, the film centers on a fierce rivalry between the U.S. President, portrayed by John Cena, and the UK Prime Minister, played by Idris Elba. This rivalry poses a risk to the “special relationship” between their nations. However, when a formidable and merciless foreign enemy targets them, the leaders find themselves with no choice but to team up, relying on the one person they can trust: each other. Together with the exceptional MI6 agent Noel Bisset, portrayed by Priyanka Chopra, they must escape danger and collaborate to uncover and thwart a global conspiracy that could threaten the free world.

The film promises a thrilling blend of explosive action and witty dialogue, taking audiences on an adventurous ride. With a nostalgic nod to the 90s, “Heads of State” is directed by Ilya Naishuller, known for his work on “Hardcore Henry” (2015) and “Nobody” (2021).

The star-studded cast includes Idris Elba, John Cena, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle, and Paddy Considine, among others. This film also marks the reunion of John Cena and Idris Elba since their collaboration in the 2021 film “The Suicide Squad.”

In addition to “Heads of State,” Priyanka Chopra is set to star as the leading lady in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project, “SSMB29,” where she will make her debut opposite Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu. This film will mark her return to Telugu cinema, following her role in the 2002 romantic film “Apuroopam.”
