Ashok Chopra, a respected physician in the Indian Army, fought cancer before his passing in 2013 at the age of 62. Priyanka has often expressed the profound bond she had with her father, emphasizing how his absence has created a significant void in her life.

Despite her heartache, Priyanka is adeptly managing her personal memories alongside a demanding professional schedule. She is poised for the release of her upcoming project, ‘Heads Of State’, an action thriller directed by Ilya Naishuller. The film, set to premiere on Prime Video on July 2, features Priyanka alongside Hollywood stars John Cena and Idris Elba. In this film, she plays Noel Bisset, a talented MI6 agent who partners with Cena and Elba’s characters amid a diplomatic crisis.

But that’s not all. Priyanka is also involved in ‘SSMB 29’, an eagerly anticipated film directed by the renowned SS Rajamouli. Adding to her diverse portfolio, Priyanka will soon appear in ‘The Bluff’, where she portrays a fierce 19th-century pirate. This thrilling adventure set in the Caribbean follows her character as she confronts various dangers from her past to safeguard her family. Directed by Frank E. Flowers and co-written with Joe Ballarini, the film also features Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo.

Meanwhile, Priyanka is set to reprise her role as Nadia Sinh in the second season of ‘Citadel’, the high-octane spy series that debuted in 2023. Co-starring Richard Madden, the show marked a significant milestone in her international career and has amassed a dedicated fan base.
