In response, the ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ actress stated that she is not interested in pursuing a political career. The user complimented her as a “Soldier” and asked about her political ambitions. Preity replied, “NO! Politics is not for me. Over the years, I’ve been offered tickets and Rajya Sabha seats by various political parties, but I’ve graciously declined as it’s not for me. It’s not entirely incorrect to call me a soldier since I am a soldier’s daughter and sister. We army kids are different; we don’t identify as just North Indian, South Indian, Himachalli, or Bengali.”
On the work front, Preity is set to make her return to Bollywood, starring alongside Sunny Deol in ‘Lahore 1947,’ backed by Aamir Khan Productions.
