“PM: We Will Establish Yamuna as the Identity of Delhi Following BJP’s Historic Victory”

In a heartfelt message to the residents of Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received by the BJP in the recent Delhi Assembly elections. He emphasized that the new BJP administration would work to make the Yamuna River a defining feature of the city.

Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over corruption allegations against its leaders, the Prime Minister announced that the Comptroller and Auditor General’s (CAG) report would be presented during the inaugural session of the newly formed assembly by the BJP.

“These AAP leaders have engaged in daily conspiracies to obscure their fraudulent activities. Now, with the election results in, I assure you that the CAG report will be presented in the very first assembly session. We will investigate every instance of corruption, and those who have committed theft will be held accountable,” he stated while addressing party members and leaders at the BJP headquarters following the election results.

Modi pledged that the BJP would reciprocate the affection shown by the people of Delhi with significant advancements and development. “This trust and love from the citizens of Delhi is a commitment for us. The ‘double-engine’ government will repay this love through accelerated growth in the capital,” he remarked.

Discussing the restoration of the Yamuna, Modi reiterated, “I committed during my campaign to make the Yamuna a symbol of Delhi. I acknowledge that this is a challenging and time-consuming task. Regardless of the time and effort required, if our resolve is strong, the blessings of Yamuna ji will follow. We are dedicated to serving Mother Yamuna and will approach this responsibility with great commitment,” he asserted.

Referring to the BJP’s victory as “historic,” Modi declared, “The people of Delhi have voted out the AAP! Delhi has been liberated from a decade of AAP rule. The mandate from the electorate is unmistakable! Today, we celebrate the victory of development, vision, and trust over anarchy, arrogance, and the AAP’s misgovernance.”

He commended the citizens of Delhi for rejecting the politics of “lies and deception” and delivering a decisive mandate to the BJP. “The people have put an end to the shortcut politics of Kejriwal and removed a significant barrier to Delhi’s progress,” he remarked.

“The results clearly indicate that there is no place for shortcuts or deceit in politics. The people have effectively short-circuited the politics of shortcuts,” the Prime Minister noted.

“Today’s outcomes demonstrate clearly that the public places their trust in the BJP’s double-engine governance. After our success in the Lok Sabha elections, we made history in Haryana, achieved significant milestones in Maharashtra, and now we have created history in Delhi. These results show that Delhi is more than just a city; it is a microcosm of all of India—a ‘mini Hindustan’!” Modi affirmed.

Couple Uses Dupatta to Rescue Biker from Flash Flood

National: A family in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba risked their lives to rescue a biker trapped in a flash flood following heavy rainfall.

The incident occurred on the Kakiara-Tunuhatti road in the Bharmala area of Bhatiyat. Heavy rain caused water to flood the road, creating a strong and dangerous current.

The biker struggled to stay safe as he was caught in the fast-flowing water. Two women, including a newlywed woman, quickly used a dupatta as a makeshift rope to rescue him.

The biker held onto the dupatta while the family members pulled him towards safety. Another person also joined the rescue effort.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The family’s courage and quick thinking have received widespread praise online.

Two Arrested for Alleged Assault on Minor Girl in Moving Bus

Noida: Two men, including a bus driver and conductor, have been arrested for allegedly gang-raping a 16-year-old girl on a moving sleeper bus in Greater Noida.

Police said the incident occurred on August 4 when the girl boarded an empty bus while travelling to Noida Sector 63.

The accused allegedly assaulted the girl and later abandoned her near Kashmere Gate in Delhi, around 40 kilometres away.

Following the survivor’s complaint, police launched an investigation and arrested both accused from Timarpur in North Delhi.

The bus has been seized, and CCTV footage and forensic evidence are being examined.

Further investigation is underway.

21-Year-Old Model Murdered Inside Home, Gym Trainer Accused

New Delhi: A 21-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death inside her home in West Delhi on Wednesday. The police suspect her gym trainer, identified as Imran, in the case.

The victim, identified as Muskan, was a student and model. She was reportedly alone at her home on the second floor of a building in Tilak Nagar when the incident took place.

According to the police, Imran allegedly attacked Muskan with a knife. He then fled from the spot.

Neighbours heard Muskan’s screams and rushed to her house. They found her lying in a pool of blood.

The neighbours immediately took her to a nearby hospital. However, she died while undergoing treatment.

Police teams have launched a search for the accused. Investigators are also checking CCTV footage from the area to trace his movements.

Muskan’s friend Aman said she was the youngest of three sisters. He said her elder sister, who is in Chandigarh, called him after learning about the attack.

Aman said he immediately asked another friend to reach the house and take Muskan to the hospital. By the time he arrived, an ambulance had already taken her away.

He also claimed that Muskan’s sisters had earlier told him that Imran used to harass her. He said Imran had allegedly behaved in a similar manner in the past.

The police are investigating the exact motive behind the murder. Further details are awaited.
