On the eve of the Budget, PM Modi invoked the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity, wishing that she continues to shower her blessings on those who need it most.

“I pray that Goddess Lakshmi continues to bless the poor and middle class of our country,” PM Modi said. “It is a moment of great pride for all of us that India has successfully completed 75 years as a democratic nation,” he added, highlighting the significance of India’s journey on the global stage.

In his address, PM Modi described the upcoming budget as a crucial step in the country’s path toward becoming a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of India’s independence. He emphasized that this budget would provide the necessary energy and optimism to propel the nation forward, reaffirming his belief in India’s bright future.

“This is the first full-fledged budget of my third term, and I firmly believe that in 2047, India will fulfill its vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India),” said the Prime Minister, underscoring the significance of the budget in shaping the country’s future trajectory. “This budget will give new energy and hope to the nation.”

India’s Democratic Journey and Global Standing
