“We have already finalized several projects for food processing in Rewa. Land acquisition and necessary approvals are complete, and the MoU has been signed,” said Balkrishna. He also mentioned that the company plans to expand its existing operations in Pithampura, adding to the 4-5 large-scale units already established in the state.

Madhya Pradesh holds a vital position in India’s agricultural sector, particularly in soybean and wheat production. “The state processes nearly five lakh tons of soybeans and over one lakh tons of wheat annually, making it an ideal hub for our expansion,” Balkrishna noted.
In addition to food processing and Ayurveda, Patanjali is eager to explore opportunities in the renewable energy and IT manufacturing sectors, signaling a shift toward a more diversified and sustainable business model.
This investment is expected to create jobs, stimulate local industries, and enhance self-reliance in the food processing and healthcare sectors. Madhya Pradesh’s robust agricultural base and business-friendly environment continue to attract significant investments, while the state government actively promotes industrial growth by streamlining regulations, improving infrastructure, and facilitating ease of doing business.

Maoist Encounter: CPI(M) Criticizes Centre for Policy of Violence and Annihilation

Here’s a rewritten version of the content:
In a statement from the CPI(M) Polit Bureau, they criticized the central government and the BJP-led Chhattisgarh state government for ignoring multiple appeals from the Maoists for dialogue. They remarked, “Rather than seeking a resolution through discussion, the government is adopting a brutal policy of violence and extermination.”
On Wednesday, security forces executed an operation in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, which led to the neutralization of 27 notorious Maoists, including Rao, also known as Basavaraju, the general secretary of CPI-Maoist.
The Left Party pointed out Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s reiteration of a deadline, as well as Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo’s assertion that dialogue is unnecessary. They asserted that this encounter demonstrates a fascistic attitude that seemingly glorifies the loss of human life and contradicts democratic principles.
“Numerous political parties and concerned citizens have urged the government to heed the call for dialogue. While we disapprove of the Maoists’ politics, we strongly advocate for the government to accept their request for negotiations and to cease all paramilitary actions immediately,” the statement concluded.

IndiGo: Union Government to Decide on Agreement with Turkish Airline

Certainly! Here’s a rewritten version of the content:
—
“It’s essential to understand that our operations to Istanbul are framed by the Air Service Agreement (ASA) between India and Turkey. IndiGo adheres to all relevant regulations. We have thousands of Indian customers booked, primarily traveling beyond Istanbul,” Elbers remarked during a recent media briefing discussing the airline’s financial results for Q4 and the entire fiscal year 2024-25.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Istanbul using two Boeing 777 aircraft leased from Turkish Airlines and provides codeshare connections to Europe and the US through this partnership. The lease agreements for these Boeing 777s are set to expire on May 31.
Elbers emphasized, “The renewal decision for these leases rests with the Indian government.”
His comments follow the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security’s (BCAS) revocation of the security clearance for Turkish company Celebi Airport Services India Pvt Ltd on May 15, which was attributed to national security concerns amid rising tensions between India and Turkey over Turkey’s diplomatic and military affiliations with Pakistan.
In financial news, IndiGo announced a record profit after tax of ₹3,067.5 crore for the January-March quarter, representing a remarkable 62% increase from ₹1,894.8 crore during the same period last year.
“Thanks to robust demand for air travel and the effective execution of our strategy, for the fiscal year ending March 2025, IndiGo reported a strong net profit of ₹72,584 million. When excluding foreign exchange impacts, the net profit stood at ₹88,676 million, reflecting consistent performance compared to the previous year. For the quarter ending March 2025, we recorded the highest-ever fourth-quarter net profit of ₹30,675 million,” the airline stated.
Additionally, IndiGo announced the upcoming launch of direct long-haul flights from Mumbai to Manchester and Amsterdam starting in July, marking its entry into long-haul international operations.
