The highly anticipated reality show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 has officially begun with a brand-new house, theme, and contestants. Host Kichcha Sudeep, who continues to anchor the show, has completed the shoot for the opening episode and shared an update with fans on social media.
The first episode is set to air today (September 28) at 6 PM on Colors Kannada and Jio Hotstar.
This season features a diverse lineup of participants. Actor Cockroach Sudhi, popular for his villainous roles in films like Tagaru, Salaga, and Bhima, was the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss house. Making his entry with a bold warning, he introduced himself as “violent and arrogant,” raising expectations for drama inside the house.
The second confirmed contestant is actress Manju Bhashini, known for her performances in television serials such as Mayamruga, Silli Lalli, and Puttakkana Makkalu. Social media personality Mallamma from North Karnataka, famous for her outspoken style, entered as the third contestant.
With the first promos already creating a buzz, the new season promises an engaging mix of personalities and entertainment. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how the dynamics unfold inside the Bigg Boss house.

The couple shared their pregnancy news in February with a tender Instagram post that featured tiny white baby socks. Their caption read, “The greatest gift of our lives.”
Since then, Kiara and Sidharth have kept much of their journey private, making only a few public appearances.
