New Moms Urged to Prioritize Rest and Self-Care after Childbirth
Health experts advise new mothers to focus on rest, recovery, and emotional well-being after childbirth. Doctors suggest following the “5-5-5 rule” — five days in bed, five days resting on the bed, and five days moving around the house slowly to support recovery.
Mothers are encouraged to ask family and friends for help with household work and baby care so they can rest properly. Experts say feeling overwhelmed or experiencing “baby blues” is common, but symptoms like deep sadness or anxiety may indicate postpartum depression and require medical help.
Bonding with the baby through skin-to-skin contact, talking, and singing is also important. Babies should always be placed on their backs in a safe crib to reduce the risk of SIDS.

Experts also advise mothers to trust their instincts, avoid comparing themselves with others, and focus on their baby’s natural feeding and sleeping routine.

Doctor Shares Simple Tips to Reduce Alcohol Harm at Parties
Health: As weekends bring party plans, alcohol remains a common part of celebrations. However, a cancer specialist has shared simple tips to reduce its harmful effects.
Dr Vartika Vishwani, a surgical oncologist from Gurugram, advised people to drink responsibly. She said that while quitting alcohol is best, social drinkers should make safer choices.
She first warned against binge drinking. Drinking too much in a short time can harm the body and cause serious health issues.
She also advised people not to mix alcohol with smoking. This combination can greatly increase health risks.
The doctor added that vaping is not a safe alternative. It can be just as harmful as smoking.

She stressed that drinking on an empty stomach is dangerous. It allows the body to absorb alcohol faster and increases damage.
She also warned against mixing different drinks. This often leads to higher alcohol intake without realizing it.

Turmeric Bath Gains Popularity for Skin and Wellness Benefits
Health : A simple turmeric bath is becoming popular for its natural skincare and wellness benefits. Turmeric contains curcumin, which helps give the skin a healthy glow and reduces acne and dark spots. It also soothes irritated skin and may help with conditions like eczema and dermatitis.
Experts say soaking in warm turmeric water can ease muscle and joint pain by reducing inflammation. It may also slow signs of aging by fighting harmful free radicals and supporting firm skin.
In traditional beliefs, turmeric is linked to positive energy and prosperity. It is also an important part of pre-wedding rituals like the Haldi ceremony, where it is used to bless couples.

How Kapil Sharma Transformed His Body in Just 63 Days
Mumbai: On the occasion of Kapil Sharma’s birthday, his remarkable fitness transformation has once again drawn attention. The popular comedian surprised fans last year by losing 11 kilograms in just 63 days through a structured and disciplined approach.
Fitness coach Yogesh Bhateja, who trained Sharma, shared details of this transformation in a video on a YouTube channel. Bhateja, who has also worked with celebrities like Farah Khan and Sonu Sood, explained that the journey focused on gradual and sustainable changes.
He said that many people ignore fitness until a major lifestyle change forces them to act. He added that common eating habits in Indian households often include high-calorie foods such as fried snacks and sugary tea, which can affect health if not monitored.
Bhateja stressed that fitness begins with awareness. He said people must first understand their eating habits, water intake, breathing patterns, and daily routines. He explained that mental and emotional readiness is the first step toward physical transformation.
To help Sharma lose weight, Bhateja followed a simple plan called the 21-21-21 rule, which is divided into three phases over 63 days.
First 21 Days: Focus on Movement
During the first phase, Sharma focused only on basic movement and stretching. No intense workouts were included. Bhateja said simple physical training exercises helped activate all muscle groups gradually. This phase aimed to make the body comfortable with regular activity.
Next 21 Days: Diet Modification
In the second phase, the focus shifted to diet. Bhateja did not recommend strict dieting or cutting calories completely. Instead, he advised making small changes in food choices and eating habits. The goal was to build a balanced and sustainable diet routine.
Final 21 Days: Reducing Dependencies
The last phase focused on controlling unhealthy habits. Bhateja guided Sharma to reduce dependence on substances like sugar, smoking, alcohol, and excessive caffeine. This phase helped in improving overall lifestyle and discipline.
Bhateja said that visible results usually begin to appear by the 42nd day. He explained that this motivates individuals to stay committed and push for better results.

He added that after completing 63 days, people often develop self-discipline and no longer need external motivation. According to him, this method works well for beginners because it focuses on one change at a time.
Kapil Sharma’s transformation stands as an example of how consistent effort and gradual changes can lead to significant results.
