Neena Gupta Reflects on the Maha Kumbh Experience: “I’m Truly Impressed with the Government!”
Reflecting on her visit, the star of ‘Badhaai Ho’ expressed her enthusiasm: “I have wanted to come here for so long. It was truly a unique experience… I finally took a dip today,” she shared with ANI.
Amazed by the massive turnout, Neena Gupta said, “The atmosphere at the Maha Kumbh is incredible. I’ve never witnessed such a large gathering in my life… I’m impressed with how the government has organized this monumental event.”
The Maha Kumbh Mela, which takes place at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati rivers, is one of the most important religious gatherings for Hindus. Devotees believe that bathing in the sacred waters during the festival will cleanse them of sins and lead to salvation.
As per the Uttar Pradesh Government Information Department, by February 6, over “397.4 million” devotees had already taken a holy dip at the Sangam, with numbers expected to grow as the event continues until February 26.

This year’s Maha Kumbh has drawn not only spiritual seekers but also numerous prominent personalities from politics, Bollywood, and sports. Notable attendees include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other political figures.
Additionally, actors such as Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Bhagyashree, and Milind Soman, along with poet Kumar Vishwas, cricketer Suresh Raina, and wrestler The Great Khali, have participated in the festivities.
Choreographer Remo D’Souza and Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara, Mamta Kulkarni, were also present at the event.
Many attendees have commended the efficient management of the event, noting the organized security, sanitation, and available amenities.
Film: Actor Katrina Kaif celebrated her first Mother’s Day with a sweet surprise from husband Vicky Kaushal and their son Vihaan. Katrina shared photos on social media showing a bouquet of pink roses and a handwritten note.
The note read, “Happy first Mother’s Day, my love! Love, Vihaan and Papa Kaushal!” Katrina also posted a lovely picture with her baby boy while reading the children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. She captioned the post, “A happy mama’s pov.”
Katrina and Vicky welcomed their son Vihaan on November 7, 2025. The couple got married in 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.

On the career front, Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas, while Vicky recently appeared in Chhaava. He will next star in Love and War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
