Renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, celebrated for his roles in films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur,’ ‘The Lunchbox,’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ is currently shooting for his latest project in Southeast Asia. After completing the filming of ‘Raat Akeli Hai 2,’ he has swiftly transitioned to his next endeavor in Thailand.

A source close to the production shared, “Following ‘Raat Akeli Hai 2,’ Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been managing multiple projects and is now fully dedicated to his forthcoming venture. He has embarked on an extensive 25-day shooting schedule for this new project in Thailand, which adds to his already busy agenda.”

The source further emphasized, “His commitment to his craft is unparalleled, and fans can anticipate yet another compelling performance from him.”

Recently, Nawazuddin celebrated the 10th anniversary of his film ‘Badlapur’. On this occasion, it was revealed that he relied on improvisation to develop his character. He noted that his role undergoes significant evolution throughout the film, for which he collaborated closely with director Sriram Raghavan.

Reflecting on this experience, he mentioned, “Portraying this role was challenging, as my character didn’t express emotions outwardly. His transformation occurred internally, in a manner that was not visible to the viewers. Additionally, since he wasn’t intellectually developed, he couldn’t articulate those changes.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s interpretation of Liak in ‘Badlapur’ is regarded as one of his most outstanding performances, solidifying the film’s status as an unforgettable thriller. His portrayal of a clever yet oddly charming antagonist received widespread acclaim.

Looking ahead, Nawazuddin will appear in ‘Raat Akeli Hai 2,’ ‘Noorani Chehra,’ and ‘Sangeen.’ He also has a project titled ‘I’m Not An Actor’ that is set to make its world premiere at the 2025 Cinequest Film Festival in California.
