Naga Chaitanya made an appearance on the “Raw Talks with VK” podcast, where he addressed the backlash surrounding their divorce. He emphasized that they had valid personal reasons for their separation. “When we announced our separation, we explained that we had our own reasons and were moving on. What more information is truly needed? I had hoped that both the audience and the media would respect our desire for privacy. Instead, it became just another headline, a topic for gossip, and a source of entertainment.”

He further explained that any additional comments he makes could lead to more speculation and news. “Every time I speak, it seems to trigger more articles and gossip… Even now, years after we parted ways, interviews often attempt to provoke a reaction from me. I have moved on with grace, as has Samantha. We hold mutual respect. What happened was ultimately for our own growth. I’ve stated this multiple times, yet the inquiries persist. So how do I put an end to a narrative I never authored?”

Chaitanya encouraged people to focus on positivity instead. “Spread positivity instead. I have grown stronger after my marriage, found love again, and moved forward. What happened in my life is not unique; many people experience similar situations. So why am I treated like an outcast?”

During the discussion, Naga Chaitanya also touched on the negativity directed at Sobhita from online users. “I feel very sorry for her. She doesn’t deserve the backlash. She is not to blame for this situation.” He continued, “Our relationship began organically in a beautiful way—what started as a social media interaction on Instagram blossomed into a friendship and eventually a relationship. She has no ties to my past.”

He added, “I genuinely feel for her, but I am also grateful. She has shown remarkable understanding and patience. With incredible maturity, she has navigated through it all. In many ways, she is a true hero for me. Facing this kind of scrutiny is not easy.”
