Mumbai: Four members of a family died after suspected food poisoning in Mumbai. The incident happened in the Pydhonie area.

The victims were identified as Abdullah Dokadia (40), his wife Nasreen Dokadia (35), and their daughters Aisha (16) and Zainab (13).

According to police, nine family members had dinner together on the night of April 25. They ate food at around 10:30 PM. After dinner, some relatives went back to their homes.

Later in the night, between 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM, the four family members ate watermelon. After a few hours, they started feeling unwell.

By early morning, around 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM, all four showed serious symptoms. They had vomiting and loose motions.

A family doctor first treated them. Later, they were taken to JJ Hospital for better treatment.

The younger daughter died at around 10:15 AM. The husband died later that night at about 10:30 PM. The wife and elder daughter also died during treatment.

Police said the exact cause of death is not yet confirmed. Post-mortem has been done. The final report is awaited.

An Accidental Death case has been registered at JJ Marg Police Station. Police are investigating the case.

Officials said the family had eaten biryani before eating watermelon. It is still not clear what caused the poisoning.

In another incident, a seven-year-old child died in Jharkhand. Around 18 people fell sick after eating contaminated golgappa and chaat.

Authorities advised people to be careful about food hygiene. They asked people to eat safe and clean food

Mumbai: The body of 33-year-old sailor Dixit Solanki reached Mumbai airport early on April 5. He was killed in a missile attack near Oman last month.

His family had waited for 35 days. However, they refused to perform his last rites. They want a DNA test to confirm the identity of the body.

The family said there were many doubts. Dixit’s personal items like his phone and laptop are missing. This raised suspicion.

His father, Amritlal Solanki, said he will not believe his son is dead without proof. He had questioned the incident from the beginning.

According to reports, the dog suddenly turned aggressive and began attacking anyone it saw. In a viral video circulating on social media, the dog can be seen running towards people and biting them.
