Manish Malhotra Moved Priyanka Chopra to Tears During ‘Dostana’ Shoot

Bharathi S Pradhan recounted that during the film’s production, there was noticeable tension between Priyanka and Manish, marking their first collaboration. Madhu explained that toward the end of filming in Mumbai, Karan Johar had texted Manish to hurry to the set: “He messaged Manish, ‘Come to Film City. It’s the last day. You’ll be rid of her.” In response, Manish texted, “Thank god it’s my last day with Priyanka.” Unfortunately, he accidentally sent this message to Priyanka instead of Karan, leaving her stunned.
Madhu elaborated, “When Priyanka read the message about being glad it was the last day, she understandably started to cry.” Upon realizing the mistake, Karan reached out to Manish, alarmed that “she was crying on set.” This incident was indeed a significant blunder. Rather than letting this miscommunication lead to animosity, Priyanka approached Manish and asked, “What have I done?” Madhu mentioned that Priyanka handled the situation with such grace that instead of creating enemies, they formed a close friendship. She also noted that Manish later visited Priyanka while she was filming in Nice.
On the professional front, Priyanka has a lineup of exciting projects ahead, including ‘The Bluff,’ ‘Heads of State,’ and season 2 of ‘Citadel.’
