Madhuri Dixit Makes an Entrance in Jaipur for the IIFA Awards

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is gearing up to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Jaipur on March 8 and 9, with this year’s theme being ‘Silver is the New Gold.’ Bollywood stars are beginning to arrive in the Pink City for this spectacular event, which will take place at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC).

Actress Madhuri Dixit and Nushrratt Bharuccha arrived in Jaipur late Thursday evening. At the airport, Madhuri shared with the media, “I have a long-standing connection with IIFA. It’s always a source of pride to be part of this occasion. With it being hosted in Jaipur this time, my excitement is even greater.”

Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha also shared her enthusiasm, stating: “I’m incredibly excited for IIFA this year. The fact that we’re in Jaipur adds to the specialness of the event. I’ll be here for four days and intend to explore more of Rajasthan during my visit.”

Prior to their arrival, actors Vijay Varma, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee had already made their way to Jaipur. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is anticipated to arrive on Friday and will be in town for three days.

On Friday, IIFA will present a unique dialogue session titled “The Journey of Women in Cinema” in celebration of International Women’s Day. This session will feature Madhuri Dixit and Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga, who will share insights on women’s contributions to the film industry, along with their challenges and successes. The session will be moderated by IIFA Vice President Noorin Khan at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Mansarovar.

The grand finale of the IIFA Awards will occur on March 9, where the most outstanding works and talents of Indian cinema will be recognized with the coveted IIFA trophies.

While past IIFA Awards have typically been held in international locations, this year’s festivities return to India, beginning with the culturally vibrant city of Jaipur. This three-day extravaganza promises unforgettable events, performances, and tributes to some of Bollywood’s most iconic moments.
