On March 7, Lee Se Young’s agency addressed rumors about her potential involvement in ‘The Remarried Empress,’ clarifying that it is one of the projects she has been offered a role in. Meanwhile, a media report on December 10 revealed that Lee Jong Suk has also been approached for a role as the prince of the Western Kingdom. His agency, ACE FACTORY, confirmed that while the project has been offered to him, nothing is finalized yet. Additionally, reports indicate that Shin Min Ah is considering the female lead role.

Set in a fantasy romance world, ‘The Remarried Empress’ centers around Navier, the ideal empress of the Eastern Empire. Faced with her husband’s plan to name his mistress the empress, Navier decides to divorce him and seeks to find a new path as an empress elsewhere if necessary.

According to reports, Lee Jong Suk has been approached for the role of Heinrich Alex Laszlo, the prince and heir of the Western Kingdom, known for its strong economy and military comparable to the Eastern Empire. When he meets Navier, their relationship blossoms into a romantic partnership, ultimately making them a powerful royal couple as he ascends the throne. Meanwhile, Shin Min Ah is expected to portray Navier in this highly anticipated fantasy romance drama.

The creators are also in talks with Lee Se Young for the role of Rashta, a runaway slave whom Sovieshu discovers during a hunt. After entering the palace, Rashta quickly becomes Sovieshu’s mistress.
