Reflecting on his victory at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shanguman shared with SAI Media, “I have encountered numerous challenges in my life. I strive to achieve something significant. Each day passes, but I am driven to make a name for myself. I need to prove my worth. My daily motivation comes from my desire to succeed. My family is incredibly supportive, and they have played a vital role in my journey. After winning bronze in the inaugural KIPG in 2023, I’m thrilled to take home the gold this time.”
Meanwhile, the second day of the para badminton competition unfolded at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, featuring thrilling matches. Athletes like Nitesh Kumar, a Paris Paralympian, and Krishna Nagar, a Tokyo Paralympics gold medalist, showcased their talent and dominance in the sport.
