However, after her unexpected passing, the online speculation took a more concerning direction. Her father was especially outraged by Lee Jin Ho’s repeated discussions of her controversies in his videos.

One major point of contention arose from a post on Kim Sae Ron’s Instagram, where she appeared with a male companion and captioned it “Marry.” Lee Jin Ho allegedly analyzed this post along with other personal matters in several videos, fabricating unfounded narratives. However, after the news of her death broke, he swiftly made those videos private, later claiming they were submitted with her agency’s consent.

Her father vehemently disputed this, accusing the YouTuber of disseminating harmful falsehoods, including baseless allegations that the family mishandled Kim’s finances and her ashes. He lamented the distress of watching his daughter’s name be tarnished by unfounded gossip, emphasizing that these rumors are not only cruel but also a profound disrespect to her memory.

A significant concern for the family is the toll these rumors are taking on Kim Sae Ron’s younger sisters, who have unjustly faced public scrutiny amidst the ongoing speculation. Her father admitted that, consumed by grief and anger, he contemplated confronting Lee Jin Ho directly but ultimately decided that pursuing legal action was the appropriate course.

“I feel so wronged, angry, and devastated,” he shared, revealing that a legal team is currently gathering evidence to hold those accountable. His objective is clear: to safeguard his daughter’s legacy and halt the reckless speculation that only adds to the suffering of those she left behind.

Kim Sae Ron’s death sent shockwaves through the South Korean entertainment industry. She was discovered by a friend at her home in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, and authorities later classified her death as a suicide. She was only 24 years old.
