In the interview, the 24-year-old Soo Hyun made a remark about 13-year-old Yoo Jung that is now being scrutinized.
When asked about working with Kim Yoo Jung, Soo Hyun made a rather unsettling comment: “I used to think of her as too much of a baby. But after seeing her in person, she seems very confident and mature. I can’t wait to see her grow, and I expect we will soon be partners in a drama.” Although this remark did not raise eyebrows at the time, it has sparked criticism on social media in light of current events, with some users labeling it as ‘creepy.’
Soo Hyun’s Deleted Birthday Post
For those who may not know, Kim Sae Ron was found dead in her apartment on February 16, 2025, the same day as Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday. On that day, Soo Hyun had shared celebratory posts thanking his fans, which have now drawn backlash online, with many users expressing their disappointment and frustration. Several netizens have questioned the appropriateness of his celebratory content on a day marking such a tragic event, suggesting that the coinciding dates are far from chance.
Critics are pointing out that Kim Soo Hyun celebrated while Kim Sae Ron passed away, stating, “Flooding the internet with birthday articles while Kim Sae Ron’s death date coincides with his birthday… he was celebrating when she died.”
As the controversy continues to escalate, criticism against Kim Soo Hyun is intensifying. Following the aunt’s accusations, messages from Kim Sae Ron regarding a 700 million Won debt have come to light, along with her alleged unreleased statements related to their relationship.

Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada supporting actress Lalithamma, who had worked in theatre, films and television for over three decades, passed away on Sunday at the age of 65.
Lalithamma had been suffering from a stroke for the past two and a half months. As she had no one to take care of her, she was receiving shelter and care from the Amma’s Madilu Trust.
Lalithamma had dedicated nearly 35 years to the theatre industry. She performed in hundreds of stage plays and also appeared in several Kannada films and television serials.
She gained recognition among Kannada audiences through her role as ‘Saraayi Sharade’ in Darshan-starrer Suntara Gaali.
She later acted in several popular films, including Jackie, Vajrakaya, Jungli Kitturu and Putra, among others.

Lalithamma was also part of several television serials, including Rangoli, Mangalya and Mahamayi.
Known for her supporting roles and long-standing contribution to the entertainment industry, Lalithamma’s death has left her colleagues and well-wishers mourning her loss.
Entertainment: Arjun Tendulkar celebrated his 27th birthday on Friday with wishes from family, friends and fans.
Among the many messages, his sister Sara Tendulkar shared a heartfelt birthday note for him. She posted a special photo montage on Instagram in collaboration with Lucknow Super Giants.
The montage featured several pictures from their childhood. It also included a sweet moment of Arjun resting on Sara’s shoulder.
Sara called Arjun her “baby brother” and said she would always be protective of him. She recalled watching him grow up and praised his hard work and discipline.
“Happy Birthday to the one person who has been annoying me for as long as I can remember. And somehow still manages to be my favourite person,” Sara said in the video.
She added that she was proud of the person Arjun had become. Sara also expressed her love for her younger brother and wished him on his special day.
The post was captioned, “Hey Arjun Tendulkar, someone has a special birthday wish for you.”
Sara has often shared her love for Arjun on social media. Last year, she wished him with a collage and called him her.”

She also shared an emotional message when Arjun married Saaniya Chandok. Sara wished the couple a happy life filled with blessings and happiness.
Sachin Tendulkar also wished his son on his birthday. He shared a picture with Sara and Arjun from the latter’s mehendi ceremony.
“Watching you grow into the person you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Happy birthday, Arjun. Keep being you,” Sachin wrote.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee paid an emotional tribute to the actor on Instagram. He remembered Mushtaq Khan as a talented artist and a kind person.
Actor Sanjay Mishra also mourned his death. He recalled their close bond and said Mushtaq Khan was someone he could turn to for advice.
Actor Raza Murad and comedian Sunil Pal also expressed their grief.
