Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has accused Congress of being a “pawn” in the BJP’s political strategies ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. Speaking at a press conference, Kejriwal claimed that the BJP manipulates Congress like pieces on a chessboard, asserting, “When BJP asks Congress to move in a certain direction, they follow.”

Amid speculations of division within the INDIA bloc over support for AAP or Congress in Delhi, Kejriwal expressed gratitude to Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, and reportedly Uddhav Thackeray for backing AAP. “I thank Akhilesh ji, Mamata didi, and Thackeray ji for their support,” he said.

Kejriwal also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for allegedly neglecting the reservation demands of Delhi’s Jatt community and accused them of misleading the public. “The Jatt community and other groups are being ignored. The PM remembers them only during elections,” he said.

Regarding discrepancies in voter lists in the New Delhi constituency, Kejriwal announced a meeting with the Election Commission to address the issue. He confirmed he will contest only the New Delhi seat.
