Following this deal, Karan and Adar discussed the partnership at the CNBC-TV18 Global Leadership Summit. Karan expressed, “I feel this is a great collaboration. It was an easy decision for us, and we genuinely believe this partnership is vital for our growth vision.” He noted that after years of leading Dharma, he sought a partner to inject fresh perspectives on business and strategy. “I needed a collaborator who could help me craft a vision and significantly contribute to growth with their business acumen,” Karan stated.

Adar also shared his surprise at entering the entertainment sector, remarking, “I was just as shocked as everyone else was at this move.” He further added, “It’s not such a bad business opportunity… with areas like music distribution and content creation, these sectors are set to flourish in the next 5-7 years.”
