Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan are set to make their theatrical debut in the romantic film ‘Loveyapa,’ which is scheduled to premiere on February 7, just in time for Valentine’s week. This delightful movie aims to capture the essence of modern dating, examining how relationships have evolved in the digital age. Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar has already shared his enthusiastic review, describing the film as “magical” and the “best popcorn ride” he’s experienced.Promising a heartwarming narrative coupled with the charming chemistry between this fresh pairing, ‘Loveyapa’ is reportedly an adaptation of the successful 2022 Tamil film ‘Love Today,’ which featured Pradeep Ranganathan, Ivana, and Raveena Ravi in prominent roles.

The film is being directed by Advait Chandan, known for his work on ‘Laal Singh Chaddha.’ It is produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, with Zee Studios handling global distribution.

In a recent social media post, Karan Johar enthusiastically shared his thoughts on the film, stating, “Drum roll for 2025’s first love story success story.” He continues, “#Loveyapa resonates with the tech and app-obsessed Gen Z through a love story that is entertaining and makes thoughtful points succinctly… It’s genuinely a great cinematic experience! In addition, Karan Johar is backing Khushi Kapoor in her upcoming Netflix project alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan, titled ‘Nadaaniyan,’ which will also mark Ibrahim’s debut.

The incident took place when two friends were riding a bike from Kadampazhippuram to Mangalamkunnu ground to play cricket in the evening. While passing the Punjappadam school bus stop, they noticed a newly parked Range Rover car on the roadside.

Out of curiosity, they looked closely and saw Sanju Samson sitting in the driver’s seat, attending a video call. The friends turned their bike around and approached the car. Samson politely asked them to wait for a minute as he was on a call.

After finishing the call, Samson stepped out of the car and spoke to them. He then asked if they wanted to take a photo. The fan happily agreed and took out his phone, which had a damaged display with visible lines.

Noticing the issue, Samson asked him to wait for a moment. He opened the car trunk and took out a new phone. To the fan’s surprise, Samson handed over the phone and told him to use it instead, as his current phone had a display problem.
