Junaid Khan Explains His Preference for Auto Rickshaws

Bollywood actor Junaid Khan, the son of celebrated actor Aamir Khan, recently offered fans a peek into his daily life through an entertaining segment on Farah Khan’s YouTube channel, showcasing his affection for auto rickshaw rides.

Alongside his ‘Loveyapa’ co-star Khushi Kapoor, Junaid visited Farah at her residence, where the trio enjoyed a lighthearted unpacking of their bags.

Among Junaid’s belongings was a pen, which he proudly revealed he bought from a 7-Eleven in Japan. Another unexpected item was a hairdryer, as Junaid mentioned that he often styles his hair himself and uses it for quick touch-ups before going public.

The fun continued when Farah discovered a dry shampoo in Khushi’s bag, leading Junaid to curiously inquire about its usage. They also uncovered a toiletry bag in Junaid’s collection that contained an “ustarah” (razor) and hair wax. When Farah found Junaid’s wallet, she joked that it was different from his father’s because Junaid actually carries cash—specifically Rs 1300.

Junaid explained that he keeps this cash mostly for auto rickshaw rides since they do not accept credit cards. Farah was surprised by Junaid’s choice of transport, but Khushi humorously noted that it was to facilitate “blow-drying” his hair. Junaid, however, clarified that he finds rickshaws “very convenient,” although he does have access to his parents’ cars if necessary.

Farah couldn’t help but laugh, dubbing Junaid the “real middle-class hero” for his grounded attitude.

The conversation soon shifted to their upcoming project, ‘Loveyapa,’ a modern love story featuring Junaid and Khushi in lead roles. Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, the film delves into contemporary relationships and offers a fresh perspective on romance.

In addition to the two leads, the film also stars Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and several others in key roles.

‘Loveyapa’ made its debut in theaters on February 7.
